Sharpness, Lightning, composition - everything works very well here. I really like the lines created by the interplay of leave and shadows.

Thank you very much for your kind comments Randall. In fact I made other shots about this "model" but I chose this because I thought it looks more artistic than scientific..!! Best regards, Ricardo

Many thanks Dietrich !! I must confess I cleaned some disturbing shadows from the background. Actually was very difficult to get this shot, I was in the forest with a lot mosquitos trying to kill me!!
Best regards, Ricardo

Nice shot, Ricardo. Did you adjust the colours and the white balance, or is this the output of the 7070 and you just cropped and resized? Just curious, because the colours and the light are great.

By the way, is the smallest aperture of the 7070 F11? I thought it was F8.

Oops... now I see that you used the one touch white balance. How did you set it in the forest - did you carry a white or grey card with you?

Many thanks for your comments Alfred.
Yes, I guess I ajusted only a little bit the colors saturation in Photoshop, but I can not remember exactly how I did the post-processing in this particular image, usually I play with the levels, later light/shadows, saturation and selective saturation....more or less in this sequence, depending of the characteristics of the photo, sometimes I only need to adjust the levels and them the colors become to be great!!. Now that I see again the original picture, I think I only adjust levels and light/shadows to darken the background and increase the saturation and bright of the colors.
Yes I usually bring with me a simple white card in my backpack, to use the one touch white balance. The smallest aperture in the 7070 is 11, f/8 is the smallest in the previous model the 5060WZ. I think the 7070 is a great camera which I enjoy so much with my macroshots. Best regards,
Ricardo
