A wonderful image with sharp detail, the background colour is rather strong which can perhaps be distracting but I can't see how you could have muted it, very well done.

Thanks a lot Mike ....
One of the ( many ) things I like from the ED300 2.8 is when shooting with almost full aperture opening you get a fantastic Bokeh...
The color ( grass ) behind the bird , it's almost like an artificial BG..
With smaller aperture as used in the Pigeon image the details are coming back ( more ) of course.....
I like it both ways........;-))))
