Met this curious guy in a palm creek oasis in the desert close to Palm Springs, USA.

Jens, I like this picture a lot. The shallow DOF works particularly well to emphasis the head and eyes of the snake. The curve of the snake helps the composition to guide viewers focus to the head. Congratulations for such a good shot.
