Nestor Santiago A Meeting of Animals?

What a chance there was. I was actually interested in the sunset as my new E-300 was on a test. The shape of the clouds made me looked twice. I took several shots in JPEG format. Aren't they busy?

Dietrich Gloger A morning in Tuscany

Hello, something from the archives: An image I took on a trip to the wonderful tuscany - Italy 2006. We had our appartement in the beautiful chianti-hills in a small village called Lamole (Greve). I got up every morning very early and one day I was rewarded with nice banks of fog floating and rising above the hills. However, what I think is even more interesting is this tiny city with the towers that can be seen at the border between the blue and the green hills - upper right third of the Image. To my knowledge this must be San Gimignano - an interesting medieval city we also visited during our stay. The surprise for me was discovering the city on the image, recently, by looking through my old achived stuff. I've never noticed that San Gimignano can actually be seen from Greve! I checked with google-earth and San Giminano is some 25km (linear dist.) west of Greve - that makes sense because i had the sun in my back. Please excuse the long story - i think it is interesting ;-) Regards to all, Dietrich
