Thank you for all your comments. I had been on top of that cliff before, but the seagulls weren't there. Sometimes a good photograph is a matter of luck! (and yes, we were at 17? C at that moment!)

An excellent shot Juan! Could almost be a painting. What really makes it for me is the placement of the darker coloured gull. The arrangement of the group really works for me and you were lucky not to have parts of birds on the edges.

Thanks for your comments, Dave. 'Unreal' is a word that has also come to my mind with this picture. I made several shots, and even this one is part of a greater one. They are all 'nice' picture, but no more. Whe I realized the inverted 'V' shape the gulls drew, against the diagonal line of the wave, in the other hand, I thought it was almost magical (mystical, said Drew Black). Maybe some other people would have cut the original image some other way... The dark gull adds diversity to the group, yes.

The wave looks disproportional to the scale of the seagulls, yet I know it's accurate. It makes me want to jump into the froth. A very nice image.

Yes... now that you say it, it seems a bit disproportionate. Yet, this happens sometimes when you photograph overlapping objects, or that's my experience. Thanks.

Beautiful! I like the colors: it was easy to think that increasing them the picture had improved, but you left the natural ones.

I did play with Levels in Photoshop. And the result was a sharper, deeper, more contrasted image... A better image, I suppose. But the one I posted here is unretouched, because it is more 'real' (I know that's very argueable). Thanks.
