Rivets!

If you left the foreground and rivets in deliberately then there is too much. Loss of the lower 20% would make a stronger, and unusual image.

lower 20 %

Dave, your observation is so right, don't know why I was so lazy in cropping the lower 20%. I took several shot's at slightly different angles of the same composition with the camera sitting on the bridge structure (had no tripod at the time) and if you have the time please have a look at my folder (rasputtin) in the photo section of the olympus C 405080 user's group, you'll see a crop photo of almost the same shot headline NYC skyline.
