Well, i just tried it i liked the result. I think that bw enhances the harsh contrast between the illuminated facade and the dark sky and the dark foreground. And i think that the facade appears sharper and more rich in detail with bw.
Do you think i should upload the original?

I would think the modern city looks its best in color, but I see some members are experimenting with B&W quite often. I would not be decolorizing night city lights - that makes it kind of cold and uninviting, although sharper, I agree. It is just my personal opinion.

Here is the only one shot I converted to B&W, mostly because it was foggy and colorless anyway;
