Finally I managed to make a good shot from this little bird we have in our tree.

Renamed it after a remark from Steve....

Nice Capture Fons, the flash has picked up the colours well, I'm no bird expert but think this is a Great Tit
Best wishes Steve

Thanks Steve for the comment and that you like my Blue tit:

I had to use the flash because the light outside in this time off year is not that great.
Made a few shots with out flash but they all turned out to dark , pumping up the ISO was no option due off the high noise.

Best regards,

Fons

Blue Tit

I am not so sure if the flash picked up a good color here. I know these birds are fast and you need good light, but I am personally just not fond of flashes, I guess.

Hi Sergey,
Sometimes we need flash to get the picture we want.
As I am also not found off flash pictures in nature it helped me out the make this one.
All the others taken with out flash turned out to dark , even boosting up the ISO did not help.
As you know this time off the year is very poor in light and for us photographers not easy to work with.
For me the flash was a good tool in this situations, I know what you are saying....
IMO the colours are as they are, have watched this bird for a while and can not see any abnormal color differences.
Thanks for taken the time to comment on this picture .

Best regards, Fons
