Allan,

I like the idea of the candid shot but to me this looks as if your model is sitting in front of a background...almost pasted into the shot. Wish I could tell you how to make the two blend but I'm certainly not an expert on that!

Thanks for the comment...I purposely set the background to be a few stop darker then the model...I may have set it too far. Thanks again!

Great looking shot Allan - great colors, nice composition with a lot of pleasing lines and angles, lovely model.

I agree with the comments about the lighting. You've definitely made the model stand out from the background, but subconsciously our brains are telling us this isn't the way the world really looks and so the "artificial" look produces a visceral reaction that even though the shot looks great, there is something "wrong" with it.
