Nice shot of this bird Dave, only the background is a little noisy. You can use a program like neatimage to remove the noise.

This lovely, so sharp and clear with a nicely diffused background. In this shot the shape and texture of the branch the bird is perched on adds a great deal to the picture.

Perfect motif, but I miss the AF point.
May be too much crop used or too much distance.
The ED 300 is very speciaal.

Nice shot Dave! I guess this extremely photogenic species is quite common in subarctic Europe, but does not migrate. A reason why we do not see Blue Tits in our part of the world, that is, in tropical Asia.
