What a treat to see and photograph this gorgeous little female Goldcrest. I never even knew they were in my home town area until I happened to see one while down at my regular birdwatching site! Waited 4 hours for this one to appear, worth every second; they're tiny and always on the move. The male's Crest is more orange than gold.
