Why is there so much space on the right while the view direction of the bird needs it ...?

Can you also tell us a little more about the settings ( Exposure time: Aperture: Focal length: ISO )

Very nice shot Karen,clear, nice details although a little chance of improvement in the coposition department but i know it's very difficult to get bird shots in the first place, but i like it,well done.
