This shot is a bit unusual; the only time I've seen a GBH strike this pose it was on a nest - not the ground. I was initially concerned that this bird might be lame. Fortunately, such was not the case. When I took another couple of steps it arose to maximum height (~4+ feet / ~1.3 meters).
