A prickly situation
G'Day Joe:
That's quite a catch - well composed, sharp and good colors. One thing I miss (shooting the E-1 now) is the lack of slower ISO options (ie: 50, 64, 80) provided with the C-8080.
Also, that's a mighty cooperative grasshopper - in that he allowed you to set up your tripod, which must've taken a bit of time to do.
So, where abouts in Florida do you reside? I'm up in Gainesville, but not quite ready to retire.
Ciao!

Thanks for the comments Leon. I live in Sarasota. I have to confess that I sort of forced the grasshopper to cooperate. I put him in the refrigerator for a few minutes to slow him down. After I finished with him and he had warmed up and became active, I took him back to the hibiscus bush where I found him.

A prickly situation - re-visited:
G'Day Joe:
Ah ... so you sent the little feller to the cooler; yeah, that'll slow'm down a good bit; seems things worked out for both of ya in the end.
Ciao!

The dark blue background really isolates the cactus and grasshopper, love the control of DOF and crisp colours.
Well done Steve
