Thanks Fons. Yes; I'm fortunate to live in a rather photogenic area. FWIW: I really dabbled with the levels in this file; these are what I call 'post card' colors. The best time for shooting in these parts is in late winter when the migratory birds are still in the area and the weather is more accommodating - especially for folks like you from the high latitudes.

Of course, you also live in a mighty photogenic part of the planet. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Europe, especially Belgium and The Netherlands. Your old cities (like Brugge and Amsterdam 'The Dam') are breath-taking, as is Luxembourg, which was another treat - the upper and lower parts of the city and the Roman aqueducts, and then there was traveling up the Mosel River valley, all of southern France and Spain. I could go on and on and ...
