during a walk along newcastles quaysideon saturday night i experimented by asking my son to slowly walk towards the camera during a long exposure

Great technique Andy, the lighting is very good and well balanced retaining some detail in the sky, lovely reflections too, I bet you are well pleased with this.

thanks steve for your comment i am hoping to make a pano of a number of shots
that i took the same night but i will have to see how they stitch
