View from a snowy cliff
Winter arrived to northern shores in the mid January - about 6-8 weeks later than usually. This picture was shot the morning after the first proper snowfall. The strange purplish tinge on snow is a reflection of morning sky.

From looking at the thumbnail i knew it was pekka-style!
Well at least you have some winter in the north. Down here in austria we had some ridiculous snow in vienna - just one day, then it all dissappeared and temperatures are far from beeing close to zero. This is "perkele" :-)
Regards, Dietrich

Vielen Dank Dietrich. Ja, das ist wirklich perkele!... ;)
But you have at least mountains where it is supposed to be snow...or at least used to be.
Terrain in Finland is so flat, that if we don?t get snow here, we have no place to climb looking for it.
Tsch?ss, Pekka.
