Venice in the Morning
Took this picture walking out of my hotel, on a bridge crossing the canals. This was an early Sunday morning. People were walking to church. The church bells were ringing, calling them to worship.

This picture suffers a bit from weak contrast and colours (almost as if there was a layer of fog). Maybe a polariser filter would have helped. The white balance is a bit off - a bit to much red, a little bit too much blue. Composition is good, but also here the image is a bit tilted. I'd reshoot it in RAW and with a polariser filter. You could also apply some post-processing (WB adjustment, moving the black point to the right in Levels, increase saturation).

Good composition. Agree with Alfred. What is your monitor like? When I started posting on the web my photos looked good on my monitor but not on others. I now have a better monitor and can see the difference. Dave

Yes, it was a foggy morning. I suppose that could be burned away somewhat with adjustments to contrast...
