Thanks so much for all your comments and ratings, I nearly didn't bother turning out this morning, the house was so warm, the car was totaly frozen up and I ended up leaving a wiper blade stuck to the windscreen!! but I'm pleased I made the effort as the lighting was quite special when I got here and more than made up for the numb fingers and toes.
Wishing you all the best for Christmas and the New Year.

Excellent

Hi, Steve, I saw this picture today after back from vacation. I really like its composition, its soft tone and warm light. It is excellent.
Happy new year.

Damn good!

Frankly...this photo is so damn good in every aspect (as far as I can see... possibly some "pro" could find some minor flaws even in this) that I wish I had taken it myself;)
Congratulations, Pekka.

PS. It is also nice to see those moors in a different weather. I have been in fact already been anticipating from you some great low light and/or rainy weather pictures.

Thanks Lee/Pekka I'm pleased you like this shot I think this was one of those 'right place right time' moments that we are rewarded with every now and again. I initially didn't hold much hope in getting a nice shot this morning, I came up here to catch the sunrise over a fog bound Hope Valley found a good location and set my tripod up ready, but as the sun slowly rose so did the fog so my original plan was squashed, I then decided to have a walk around the moor to see if I could find any interesting 'frost' shots as the frost was quite impressive, when I came across the frozen log I was pleased I had the 11-22mm as I was able to get a low POV which would give good detail in the log and include the tree in the composition.
Cheers Steve.
