Congratulations Chris! I like this picture a lot. Old machines and mechanisms are full of interesting details for those who see them and metal (unlike plastic) ages beautifully ... like wood and potter. Also the watercolour effect suits here very well. Surprising that nobody has commented this photo so far...

I like industrial archaeology and the like, This is not only a powerful image in its own right but also serves to record our past, good social and industrial history.
Well chosen shutter speed allowing the rotation to bring the image to life.
