my first attempt at product photography using a light tent

Congratulations.

I think you are too moderate to caal this just an attempt. I?d say this looks very professional! Only minus I can see are those 4-5 dust particles that I could count on camera body;) But seriuosly speaking this is very good shot. I have been myself also interested in that light tent. What kind of light sourse did you use?

Thanks for your comments Pekka. The light tent gets most of the credit for this shot. It is very simple and fast to use. I bought the Booth Digital Photo Box Kit #1 for approximately $175 USD.

The kit includes the light tent and two 26w spiral flourescent lamps with reflectors and 3'-5" light stands.

There is enough light to use the full range of aperatures available on my camera without getting into noisy long exposures.
