Indeed great colors,
What sort of external flash did you use???
As I can see, flash came from above.
I am now puzzling what flash to buy for macro -work myself so that why i ask.

I use FL-36 and it works very fine in close macro shots. I would use remote flash (with either of Nikon cameras) when using longer macro lenses (as sigma 150, tamron sp90, sp180, or any of the nikkors). As for Olympus - it works the best with Zuikos - any flash that would not shoot straight on (you would have to either use bracket or diffuse it) will work fine for macro.
