After Deitrich told me about the 'Image Stacker' app I had a go at taking some star trail pictures. Here's my first one :) Taken in the back garden so there was lots of light pollution.

wow, for a first try, very good outcome. Looks much better than mine. How did you remove the noise?

noise removal

Noise removed with 'Neat Image' and lots of time spent with Photoshop's spot heal tool.
