Nicely captured!

I have never managed to catch a lightning on a photograph. I think you did a good job. Maybe you should try to adjust the contrast to give a darker sky and the white balance to reduce the pinkish cast? It would at least be more similar to the lightnings we have where I live ;-)

Color correction

I tried to correct it in Photoshop and didn't like any option I tried. My be in B/W or sepia...
