Steve, you've certainly managed to convey the very hot weather we're currently experiencing in the UK, and the picture is a good example of the interesting effects of linear perspective that occurs when taking landscapes with a telephoto. Yet another excellent shot from you.

Thankyou

Thanks Pedro, Ray and Nigel for your comments and ratings they are appreciated. The weather has been so hot these last few days and not really suitable for photography during the day as the skies are hazy and the lighting is harsh, I didn't think I would get anything worth taking as I went for an evenings walk but was rewarded by this view looking down the valley.
Cheers Steve

Very fine picture indeed.
Recently for an exhibition I got some pictures printed on fabric and put on a frame like a painting canvas. If you want to see one I choose you find it in my page under the name "Blue Landscape". It was a very successful idea.
I'm mentioning it because I think the this picture of yours could be particularly suited for such a printing technique.
My congratulations

Thanks for your suggestions Piero, there is a place in my village that print large canvas prints, I will have to call in and check them out.
I can see how your 'Blue Landscape' would look very good using this technique.
Cheers Steve
