Alfred, did you leave the perspective distortions on purpose?

It's true that it emphasizes size, but I find that correcting perspective gives a more pleasant feeling. Some times I even exaggerate perspective on purpose, but normally I first make sure that verticals in the image center are indeed vertical, and then I correct for vertical perspective on the sides.

Yes, more or less on purpose. The photo was taken at wide angle from the side. It is possible to correct the perspective, but the pixels at the bottom will get squeezed and the ones at the top will get expanded.

Anyway, I uploaded the same photo with the perspective more or less corrected with the Panorama tools. Have a look.

Alfred, I prefer this one as it has a more creative perspective and a closer crop. The distortion bothers me more on the other one with the square perspective. Regards.
