The dove was so big and so close I had to take it vertical otherwise it did not fit in the frame...
But as a portrait I think it's oke....;-)

So how do you like your 500 so far? Does it differ much from E300 (E-1)?

great picture fonz
this amoung othes are frequent visiters to my garden
(wife costs me a small fortune in feed for the birds keep telling her just because they eat all as puts out does not meen she needs to put out even more :) )

Hi Sergey,
As you see the E-500 is doing a good job, there is not much different with the E-300 except the noise reduction and settings are a better I think.
Comparing to the E-1 is not fair I guess because this is a other class of camera.
A little minus is the button for the auto WB , easy to press against your will, I have programmed it for DOF preview.

This dove is also a frequent visiter of my garden , I have the seem trouble ....
I am the one who is feding and the wife is complaining about the droppings....:-)
