this is a shot of the boat sheds on lindisarne (holy island) northumberland. the sheds are upturned hulls of old boats turned into storage sheds for the local fishermen on the island

Love the vibrant colours and composition, this is one of the places I want to visit, bet this would also work well as a B&W

Very interesting picture. I like the composition and the clouds in background. In my opinion could be better if you remove part of the sand from the foreground. Best wishes, Ricardo

holy island is well worth a visit but it does get crowded as it has alot of visiters.
there is the castle the old boat sheds and the old monestary built in 635 AD
and lies central to about 6 other castles.
i have tried a b&w vesion of this but liked the colour version best.

the image was cropped from the image shot as there was a man sleeping on the beach to the right
as his wife was walking around with her camera LOL :) and i just caught the top of his head :(
