pheasant?

Over here we call them Peacocks. Because they strut a lot we have an expression 'proud as a Peacock'. In this case this guy has a reason to be proud. You have caught him in all his splendor. You picked the right viewpoint for lots of DOF and that's got everything nice and sharp. Exposure, comp., timing are all good. Well done.
