Well they are obviously... just onions! I decided to capture this moment on my kitchen table before i used them on a duck casserole.

Hi Marco, what I said with regards to Pekka? s and Ricardo?s photos stand here also. Although the black BG gives impact, the lack of separation from it makes shot look flat. Break up your single light source with cardboard to add separation from BG and interest! Check my Smoke & Glass shot for example. Kind regards, Randall

Hi Randall,

believe me, ive been trying to do as what you suggest but couldnt quite achieve it or probably dont know how to set it up.
i always end up with a shot like this, if you can detail me with how to do it id appreciate it very much.
