Rusty Tree
The colour comes from a lichen. Lichen are said to be an indicator for good air quality and do no harm to the trees.

Indeed a rusty tree, did you also notice that all the branches/twigs are on the other side of the tree....?
I had looked a few times at this picture and noticed there was something to it but could not say what.

I think this is only a matter of perspective. I tried a while to hide some uglier parts of the tree.
