Nice graphic effect of this light and shadows. I think much better (more impact) if you cut a part in front. Do you remember " the creation" of Hernst Hass ? ( it's only my opinion! ) Best regards Sergio

You have chosen a great view point to make the most of the shape and form of the snow and the side lighting really adds to the mood of this shot, I would also like to see this shot without the branch and the bases of the trees as for me I think they take the eye away from the abstract beauty of the shadows and play of light over the snow.

but you should crop the tree stumps at the top out of this great picture to give it even more impact....
