January morning by the sea
I am surprised no-one commented on this image yet. It is an excellent composition but does look a little bit too dim for my taste. I would raise exposure on the lower portion of the image, including the village on the background - it has very nice golden shades and hues there, as well as highlight bottom shadows (bridge and dark snow).

Thanks for your comments Sergey. Concerning the relative darkness picture... this time the picture represents reality quite truthfully. At these latitudes days in December and January tend to be rather dark. Clear, sunny mornings like this are rare and happen usually on weekdays when I have to go work instead of going wandering along the seashore with camera;)
Personally I think that my 5060 tends to overexpose and I usually set exposure compensation to -0,3 or -0,7. In case "correct" exposure is impossible or difficult, I prefer to underexpose rather athan overexpose.
Regards, Pekka.

I like the composition and tones of this picture. The grays are great. This picture tells a lot!
