Our trip today lead us past a froosen canal where this Blue Heron just whas getting his meal from a local fish smoker.
Lucky as we where we could shoot a few shots...

Once again a great picture Fons. Espacially the clumsy way the heron move's on the ice, apart from the technecally good picture.

Right you are , these birds are clumsy, a few times it made a bad slip and landed with her rare end on the ice...
Made us giggle, and we enjoyed it very much...

I did see this shot Fons but was going to leave a comment later, when I came back it had been replaced by the 3 Starlings.

Terrific shot this Fons, you must have been pretty close to get this picture. I suppose long legs on ice mean it is harder to keep your balance.
