Collared Dove
Distinctive with its buffy-pink plumage and black neck collar, it is usually seen singly or in pairs, although flocks may form where food is plentiful. It feeds on the ground but readily perches on roofs and wires. The collared dove is now one of our most common birds and its monotonous cooing is a familiar sound.

Collared Dove
Very good focus and I like the background, that you did not edit, :)

Thank you Sergey
Right you are, I did not edit the background this time ;-)
I did a little noise reduction over the total image with Neat Image.
ISO 400 ( need it because of the low light) gave some noise in the background.
Due of the aperture 4.9 the grass field in the background as the street turned in to a smooth green and grey colour .
IMO the dove comes out really nice this way..
Cheers,

Collared Dove
Does your Neat Image work with PS or is it a standalone version? I have NeatImage 3, 4, and 5. The latest is the fastest but it gives me a permanent error message in PS from which I can not recover. They say they will fix it in the next version. So I use NoiseNinja instead, which incidentally happens to be a great tool as well.
You know what I do not like in this image? I think you lost some detail in the twig, dove's legs, and feathers. In fact her legs do look quite glossy, and I think it comes (as an aftermath) from your noise reduction function. Try to do this kind of "editing" selectively, by using masks on the areas where smoothing for example does not need to apply. I mean, you would not care if there is a little bit of noise or her legs and feathers, would you? In fact you can sharpen one part (the bird) and remove noise in the other (the background) at the same time. Overall it does look to me like one of those perfect shots, so you can play with it to make it look even better.
