Taken at dusk in National Park/Recreation Area called "Lobau" - Vienna, Austria. I like the light on this one.

The shades are a bit dark, but overall the sky and the reflections are quite well developed.

I agree, thats the prob. with the limited dynamic range of the digicam sensors. I would like to have more detail in the center part of the image. Probably could be done in the digital darkroom, but i want to keep such things to a minimum level.

A lovely tranquil scene nicely composed, great lighting. Have you tried shooting Raw, you can then convert for highlight and one for shadows and merge them in Paintshop.
Best wishes Steve

Thanks for the comment(s) so far! Well, in general i shoot in Tif - to avoid compression. I would do it in Raw but i have not figured out yet how i can handle them on pc. I want to avoid the Camedia-Software, i dont like it at all. But thanks for the hint, i should go for it.
