I live in the bottom of this valley and woke to heavy fog and a keen frost, a short drive later and I was rewarded with this view looking down the Hope Valley in Derbyshire

right time, right spot

This is what makes landscape-shots special - imho: unique light-conditions and weather-phenomena. You "included" it all in this awesome image, the shadowy foreground, the illuminated center and the foggy background. Perfectly composed!
This is the picture i want to take one day.

It is always worth taking your camera with you when you go out, you never know when an opportunity will present itself.
