The weather has been really frosty and very bright producing some flat lighting and bland skies, so I decided to have a walk up Padley Gorge at Grindleford in Derbyshire and see if I could capture some of the remaining autumn colours in the woods.

Steve,
This image looks better on the thumbnail. I can only guess that this is a shadow highlights. If so, than it is overdone.

Try to redo it with either
1) "Exposure" and "Offset".
and / or with
2) Bringing up the white threshold

In either case this should not be the final image (Especially from the RAW format).

I like this shot as it is...... on my monitor
The golden colour and the well captured little stream make it a beautifull Autumn picture.

Would also love to see this picture with the settings handed by Sergey to compare....

I have done as you have suggested and think this has improved the image.
