Nice castle, though the composition is not working for me. What strikes me most is that de picture isn't straightened: the walls are tending to the right.

I have to agree with Willem a little work in Photoshop rotating the image to bring the walls vertical and maybe darkening the sky slightly would really improve the shot, there is a lovely quality to the light which brings out the texture of the stone walls.
Cheers

Willem,
Thank you for the comment. I have made a crude attempt at straightening the walls. My Photoshop course has not reached this area of work yet.
Regards
Mike

Steve,
Thanks for the comments. I have made a crude attempt at straightening the walls. Several attempts to darken the sky did not look natural, so that will have to wait for my Photoshop course to catch up.
Regards
Mike

This is an improvement on your original post Mike, also loosing the path from the bottom rhs has made the shot more balanced.
Photoshop can be mind blowing to start with but it is worth the effort, I'm only just scratching the surface myself.
Looking forward to seeing more.
Cheers
