Lovely photoBruce.
I would have cropped out the top balloon, I find it distracts.

Nice silky roll of shades on the balloons. Good sharpening also. The noise is a bit visible on top portions of the sky. Winner nevertheless.

Well, I am not sure about the top balloon. It gives a good perspective of the height. I would leave it there. Even if it is half way visible.

I wouldn't crop because the composition would be afflicted.

Hi Bruce,

I really like the effect the water has on the balloon The calm wind gives the reflection a slight shimmer or blur.

Great Picture

Very nice shot

Great shot, although slightly tilted (horizon is not perfectly horizontal). I think if you submitted this to the Reflections category of the September photo contest, you would have a good chance of winning.

By the way, in this shot the white balance and the colours are excellent.

Wondering if Contest Submissions are not SUPPOSED to be seen here...?? Are they disqualified if seen here Alfred??

Thanks...

No, images posted to MyOlympus are allowed for contests, because otherwise people would hesitate using this photo sharing site. You are just not allowed to use an image which was submitted to a previous photo contest.

Good shot and composition if you correct, even whith software, the horizon . The colors are just a little pumped and I see some artifact ( I think a not very good use of USM) .However a nice picture!

Very nice

This image has incredible colours! Also the composition is very good.

My only two comments are that it is slightly leaning to the right and that you could have de-selected the mountain rim and the edge of the ballons against the blue sky before doing unsharp mask to avoid the sharpening artifacts there. - Both are easy enough to fix.

Cheers, Jens.
