Nice shot! As you can see f. 3,5 is better than f. 2,4( not only for the 8080 but also for all the cameras in the world, even the great Leitz)

The City (London)
To avoid light deflection lens manufactures design their lenses in a way so the best / optimal performance will be in the mostly used range. On c-8080 it appears to be around 3.5-4. I tested it on several occasions by zooming up on far-away objects and then comparing the images at high magnification.
