This place in Holland is the one and only where transportation is going by boat, no roads there. They build houses long time ago on fields that where surrounded by water. They people "farmers" who build the home's use to had sheep and cows grazing on nearby field. Can you imagine how it looked like when all those cows had to go in a rowing boat to bring them all home to the stable?s. The name off the place is ?Giethoorn? located in the centre off the Netherlands. Best regards,

Very nice, composition perfect. I do not Know The Holland, but I'm fascinated of the houses and the landscapes of this land. One day I want to visit it. ... Best regards!

Very nice composition, Fons. I have noticed you use e-300 and e-1. Would you comment on both of these cameras? You can do it offline, if you prefer; sngreen35@hotmail.com - Sergey

Sorry I am so late ! It is a verry idyllic scene - each square meter seems to be maintained as a garden ! Like the style of the house - espetially the roof ! The blue boat is a little to dominant i feel !

Dont be sorry Dirk we say better to late than never..;-)
Thanks for the comment, this little town "Giethoorn" is like a Garden you are right..... No cars only boats for transportation. The blue boat in the front , yes I know its a bit dominant but it gives that little extra on colour to this picture that was the reason to let sow up in the picture.
