Panorama of a local lake in the Autumn
I live only 1 km from this lake, but had not visited it in many years until yesterday.

Love the colors Loren. In my few attempts at panorama's I have had much better success when using the panorama function in camera and xD card. The grad nd filter probably would have been more forgiving on the sky as the polarizer is best at right angles. On this one the sky is washed out and color inconsistent. The center color area is beautiful. The fg is also too dominant. You might shoot this scene in better light such as early am or evening. Just my thoughts. Regards.

Gary, Thank you very much for your comments. I agree with each of your observations. The sky was completely white the first time I tried this, but it still isn't good and doesn't even look real to me in the photo. I suppose I could have layered a different sky in here but that would defeat the honesty of the photo. I don't currently have a ND filter, but may soon invest in one.
