Damsel Fly

Another nice macro shot Fons. What I like especially is the baground colour complements the subject, I know you can't control these things but you can notice them when they happen. Good shot.

Background

The background is a plant very dark green with big leafs, I was surpriced after I took the shot with F8.0 that there was no DOF behind the DamselFly. Reading the EXIF it told me it was F8 and 1/350 sec...... now I am getting nerveus is there something wrong. Went back to the EXIF again and noticed that the picture was taken with F4.0 and not F8.0 that is the explanation for the lack of DOF behind the Fly. Reason of the mistake is: when you open a picture and you have property's also set to view, it comes a little later. So what happends is sometimes you are looking at the EXIF from the picture before. In this case it was like that. Will change the F setting right now....

NO SUBJECT

Thank you Dirk, this is my favorite subject at the moment. You can see so many Damselfly's they all have a different colour.
