A very good question Kerland, if the picture had been taken from slightly above it may help. It seems to have the body of a frog but looks a bit like a lizard, could it be a salamanda.

Bull Frog...?
Kerland I think it is a Bull Frog, have seen them in Canada they make a hack off a noice at night.

What's this creature ?
Phil, Bevellee and Fons, thank you'll for the input, I think Fons maybe right about the name of this frog, I have been researching and the bull frog is the only frog that seems to fit the description
