Phil, about how many clients do you have coming in at one given day? and with the extreme close up that you are getting maybe you can recognize a couple of your past visitor's to your studio, I'm sure there's going to be some sort of pattern to these birds behavior that could lead you to learn more about them, could be educational so please let us know. At the moment I do not have much time to go out with the camera so this is ideal I can set up the camera and then get on with the things I need to do. After a couple of hours I can go back and see what has been recorded. It is not a time consuming thing at all.

Kerland the birds which come are mainly the birds which live around my garden so I see the same birds all the time. The birds have got thoroghly used to the camera and have no fear of it or the flash. I have some out of focus shots where the bird is looking right into the lens about 25mm away. They are interesting to watch as each has its own personality, some more bold some more timid, some aggressive some not.
