They are laying there eggs or larve under the water surface on top of a plant. Very interesting to see, almost drawning the femail as I could see.

From now on we not only know whay butterflies do, but also what dragonflies do (in Italy butterflies are expected to be the way parents explain birth to children). Out of joke this shot is very interesting as a picture and as a document. Congratulations!
