Thanks Alfred!

This is something from a session a couple of years ago. I've been spending a lot of time experimenting with the Nik Effects package and have been very pleased with what it's allowed me to do.

Ah... ok. I was in fact wondering what processing had been applied. Did you use the Nik package only for B&W conversion?

I used Nik Color Effects to smooth her skin a little (she has great skin to start with), the pro contrast and color correction effects, and the detail extractor (mostly on her hair and pants). I made a color version also and was torn between which one I liked best. I used Nik Silver Effects (Fine Art Process) for the B/W conversion. There were also adjustments made in both Lightroom and Photoshop - W/B, contrast adjustments, a slight vignette, shadows and highlights, curves, levels, clone and healing brush. Probably 20-30 minutes of work total.

I see. Did you make a print out of this?

No. I don't do that often enough. I always like to see prints, but I never know what to do with them once I make them.
