Wonderful!

A little more depth of field, bringing the wings into sharper focus, and I'd have awarded 10 rather 9. I hope I'm not being mean, it is an excellent capture.

I understand and empathise Juliette. Much better that you get some shot rather than getting none because you fiddled - especially when the one shot you did get is as good as this.

What mode do you work in? Personally I default Aperture Priority most of the time.

I work in A-mode Ken, and I know one can higher the F-number quick in that mode, but.... I forget most of time.... when the critter stays long enough on the same spot.. I start fiddling with the F-

Excellent shot and I love the way the bee is framed by the flower and the sense of motion you get from seeing the wing up.
