This is one of the coastal defense measures that the Netherlands has build to protect the country. It is one of the worlds biggest coastal defense projects and an example of Dutch water related engineering .

Good Picture. But your wall is a joke. All defense measures are bullshit and wasting our money. Stopping poor migrants from a new life and letting bandits fly over. Anyway, you need to focus at hyperfocal distance for this image.

Could you please tell me what hyperfocal distance is? And thanks for the comment on the picture.

Furthermore the wall you see is not meant for keeping out migrants, but it is meant for keeping out the sea. It is a dam that can be opened and closed, depending on the sea conditions. The Netherlands is largely situated below sea level, therefore proper defense against the sea is necesarry to prevent flooding of a large part of the country.
